Get in touch about your TESU preceptor placement

Tell us your TESU nursing track, your city and state, and your target practicum term, and we will start lining up an approvable preceptor and site in your specialty. The two fastest ways to reach us are the live chat in the corner of this site and the placement form, where you send your details in one go and we reply with next steps.

How to reach us

Use whichever is easiest for you. Both channels reach the same team, and both let us come back with a plan built around your track and your timeline.

  • Live chat (in the corner of this site): a real advisor is on rotation, so you reach a person rather than a bot. Best for a quick back-and-forth question about FNP, PMHNP, the MSN specializations, or the DNP.
  • Placement form: send your situation in one message and we will reply with what is realistic in your area and the steps to get there. Best if you already know your track and your practicum term.

The three details that let us give you a real answer instead of a generic one are your TESU track (MSN-FNP, MSN-PMHNP, the Post-Master's PMHNP certificate, an MSN specialization in Nurse Educator, Nursing Informatics, or Nursing Administration, or the DNP), your city and state, and the term you plan to start your practicum. If you do not have all of that yet, reach out anyway and we will help you pin it down.

Two things to keep in mind

First, TESU requires that you carry your own malpractice insurance before you register for practicum courses, so plan to have that in place ahead of your placement, not after. Second, every preceptor, site, and (for the MSN specializations) practicum project has to meet your program's approval requirements, and TESU makes that final decision, not us. We work to put an approvable candidate in front of you early so you clear those requirements with time to spare.

One caution on programs: the Post-Graduate APRN certificate is pursuing initial CCNE accreditation and is not yet accredited, so confirm its current status directly with TESU before you rely on it. For any hour count, credit total, or deadline, confirm the specifics with TESU as well.

A note on who we are

We are an independent clinical-placement service. We are not Thomas Edison State University, we are not the CCNE, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by either. Our fee covers sourcing, verification, and coordination of your placement; it is never a payment to a preceptor, because preceptors are not paid by us. To see how the process runs from first message to a confirmed preceptor, read how it works.

Questions

Good to know

How do I reach you?

Use the live chat in the corner of this site or the placement form. Both reach the same team. Send your TESU track, your city and state, and your target practicum term, and a real advisor will reply with what is realistic in your area and the next steps.

What should I send to get a placement plan?

Send three things: your TESU track (FNP, PMHNP, the Post-Master's PMHNP certificate, an MSN specialization, or the DNP), your city and state, and the term you plan to start your practicum. If you do not have your term nailed down yet, message us anyway and we will help you work it out.

Are you part of Thomas Edison State University?

No. We are an independent placement service with no affiliation with or endorsement from TESU or the CCNE. We help you secure an approvable preceptor early; TESU makes the final approval decision on every site and preceptor.

Do I need malpractice insurance before I contact you?

Not to contact us, but keep in mind that TESU requires you to carry malpractice insurance before you register for practicum courses. Plan to have it in place ahead of your placement. Confirm the current requirement with TESU.

Do not let the search cost you a term

Tell us your TESU program, your city, and your practicum timeline. We will come back with a placement plan and a realistic path to a preceptor and your clinical hours.

Independent service. We are not TESU. No obligation, no spam.
