Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, and how you can have it removed. We keep it short and plain because that is how a privacy policy should be. We are an independent clinical-placement service for Thomas Edison State University nursing students. We are not TESU, and using this site does not create a relationship with TESU or its nursing accreditor, the CCNE.

Who we are

We operate this website, a private service that helps TESU nursing students line up an approvable preceptor and clinical site in their specialty and state, across the MSN-FNP, MSN-PMHNP, the Post-Master's PMHNP certificate, the MSN specializations, and the DNP. We are an independent service, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by TESU or the CCNE. When we work on your behalf, we coordinate with prospective preceptors and sites; we do not act for TESU.

This policy covers only this website and the placement form and chat on it. It does not cover TESU's own systems or any third-party site we may link to; those have their own privacy practices.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to answer you and help plan a placement, and it all comes from you when you fill out the form or use the chat. It typically includes:

  • Your name, so we know who we are helping.
  • Your email and phone number, so we can reply.
  • Your program or track (for example FNP, PMHNP, an MSN specialization, or the DNP), so we can match the right preceptor.
  • The page or form you came from, so we understand what you were looking at when you reached out.

We do not ask for a Social Security number, and you should not send one. We do not collect background check results, immunization records, or medical information through this site. If a site later needs clearance documentation, you provide it to that site or to TESU directly, not to us.

How we use it

We use what you share for one purpose: to plan and coordinate your placement. That means replying to you, understanding your track and timeline, and searching for and reaching out to an approvable preceptor and site in your area. We may use your contact details to follow up on an open request and share the options we find. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we will. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing or advertising profiles.

What we never do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or hand your details to data brokers or advertisers. We also do not send your information to TESU or the CCNE to represent you to them; you manage your own relationship with the university.

To arrange a placement we may need to introduce you to a prospective preceptor or site, sharing only what that introduction requires, such as your name, track, general location, and timeline, and always with your knowledge. Beyond that, we share information only with service providers that help us run the site, under confidentiality, or when the law requires it.

How to remove your information

You stay in control. You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can tell us to stop contacting you at any time. To do any of these, reach us through our contact page. We will confirm your request and act on it, and we may verify your identity first so we act on the right person's information. Deleting your details may end an active placement search, since we need them to do that work, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Questions

Good to know

Do you sell my information to schools or advertisers?

No. We never sell, rent, or trade your information. We use it only to reply to you and plan a clinical placement, and we share it with a prospective preceptor or site only as needed and with your knowledge.

Will you share my details with Thomas Edison State University?

No. We do not send your information to TESU or the CCNE to represent you to them. You manage your own relationship with the university. We are an independent service and work alongside you, not on TESU's behalf.

How do I get my information removed?

Reach us through the contact page and ask us to delete your data. We will confirm the request and act on it. We may verify your identity first. Note that deleting your details may stop an active placement search, since we need them to do that work.

Do not let the search cost you a term

Tell us your TESU program, your city, and your practicum timeline. We will come back with a placement plan and a realistic path to a preceptor and your clinical hours.

Independent service. We are not TESU. No obligation, no spam.
